We are a free program managed by Skip-a-Long Family and Community Services, a non-profit agency that has served the Quad Cities area since 1970. We offer families a network of licensed in-home child care providers that are part of our program, and we work directly with families to find care to meet their needs for 1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift, or weekends/holidays. We work with our home child care providers for free to help them develop curriculum, purchase safety and teaching supplies, and assist in going through the Quality Rating System so they can provide the best possible care for their children. Our office is open Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, but the hours of child care our home child care providers offer varies and accommodates a wide variety of schedules.
