2nd Chance provides safe shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic violence escaping abusive situations and offers educational outreach to the community to create awareness and strengthen the movement against domestic violence. Services: 24 Hour Crisis Line Court Advocacy Child Advocacy Case Management Support Group Referrals Limited Transportation Safe shelter, food, clothing, and personal hygiene items 2nd Chance operates the Joy Kathryn Courtney emergency shelter for victims and their children fleeing domestic violence situations. Community Outreach: Advocacy Court Advocacy Case Management Counseling Referrals Public Awareness Education on Domestic Violence Support Group SAIL project/Department of Human Resources Community Education and Outreach programs are available to groups interested in learning the dynamics of domestic violence.
