This office is part of the Pennsylvania Child Care Information Services (CCIS). They administer the subsidized child care program that helps low-income families pay their child care fees. If you meet the guidelines: The CCIS will pay a part of your child care cost. This is called a subsidy payment. You will pay a part of the cost. This is called the family co-pay. The subsidy payment and the family co-pay go directly to the child care program. If your child care subsidy does not pay the full amount that your child care program charges, the provider may ask you to pay the difference between the subsidy payment and their private charges. Submit an application to this office to apply for subsidized Child Care.
I recently moved back to this area and my children just got taken away from me due to lack of shelter. I was doing well working at as a personal care aide in punxsutawney PA. My family has been though alot this past 2 years and we had lost everything we have ever known including my youngest son and my mother. We came to this area to be around family and it has been awful. I have come to realize I cannot keep my small family together by myself and I need to do what is best for me and my children. I am in a bad living situation and recently got put on probation and need to get my life back. I want to get out of this situation and get my life together I just need a little help. If there is anyway you could help me, my son Lukas and finally my daughter Aubrey who is currently in New Jersey with her grandmother who does not like me.
